The Bridge Academy, London E2

We were selected to carry out the installation and upgrade of The Bridge Academy security systems as a result of a competitive tender process managed by an independent security consultant..

The client required a comprehensive system that would provide them with full Intrusion detection and access control across the whole site - this included satellite buildings and detached areas. To replace the existing access control system which was not capable of servicing all doors and alarms on the site.

After meeting with the client and listening to their current issues and operations, we designed a bespoke system which would meet all requirements and allow them the flexibility to expand the system in the future.

Our Solution- We installed a Texecom Intruder Alarm system and Paxton Access Control system to best meet the clients requirements. Due to the complexities of the work required, the original design was adapted throughout the project to ensure the best solutions to get cabling and coverage to all areas of the site.

Obstacles we overcame

We had a very tight deadline to compete this project as it had to be finished for the school to reopen at the end of the school holidays. In total we had 5 weeks to complete all works and handover a fully tested and operational system.

To ensure we met the deadline we utilised two separate teams on site at once. The first team was working solely on the Intruder alarm and the second team on the access control system.

Close management of the works on site and regular site visits from the management team at Fidelity, as well as constant dialog with the client helped to complete this complicated installation within the very limited time frame.
